Within just one year the area around the former home ground of 1. FSV Mainz 05 was transformed into a modern training centre. The construction works at Bruchwegstadion started at the beginning of the year 2018. After tearing down the northern stand and the old training grounds, we created three pitches with natural turf – all of them are equipped with grass heating systems – as well as another training ground with the innovative heiler Sporthybrid Turf. In addition, the entire outside area was redesigned with a new stand, paths and ball catch fence amongst other features.
